LHA receives training on accounting and financial management

LHA continues
to undergo positive changes, and these changes could hardly be
possible without the help of highly skilled people from
outside.
In February, LHA started a partnership with AfID - Accounting for International Development. With the help of AfID, LHA has received a training on accounting and financial management from Alicia Renee Samp, a qualified finance advisor from London.
During her five-week placement, Alicia has been working with the executive director and accountant trying to identify key recommnedations, preparing an action plan and helping to strengthen financial control and formalise accounting records.
In a few days, Alicia is leaving to continue her journey helping another NGO in Honduras, Central America. After she leaves, AfID is planning to send another two volunteers to LHA in July and September/October.
