LHA conducts a new graduate survey

On 23 June, LHA started conducting a new graduate survey of the Hotel de la Paix/LHA Sewing School. The survey involves four districts and a total of 40 graduates.

According to the survey results, most of the graduate students still use the sewing machine provided by LHA and earn money from sewing.

While prior to the course most of the girls did farming (growing rice) and did not have any income, now each month they earn from $40 to $100 or more.

Previous survey was conducted three years ago, in 2009. Out of 41 interviewed graduates, all of them were earning money from sewing and their income ranged from $5 to $100 (average of $40).
