Another PAGE girl has been accepted to university

Last year one of the PAGE girls finished her school and started studying at the Royal University of Phnom Penh to become a Khmer language teacher.

Last month another PAGE girl left LHA boarding house and started studying BA in Banking and Finance at Build Bright University.

19-year-old Nehoeum goes to university in the morning and in the afternoon she works at a restaurant. LHA continues supoporting her by providing a scholarship to cover the tuition fees and a place to live.

Nhoeurm was accepted into the PAGE program three years ago, in October 2007. With the help of LHA her life has changed for the better. She is very happy to be a student and after finishing her studies expects to get a job related to her studies.

At the moment, there are 11 girls in the PAGE program. Another two girls should finish their school this year. If you would like to sponsor their further education, please let us know.
