This year marks a new beginning for our PAGE program. This week, LHA purchased 2,070 square meters of land (23 m X 90 m) in Chreav Village and is going to build a new boarding house for the girls. The project is sponsored by Go Campaign - a fund-raising NGO located in California, USA.

PAGE program was started in the early 2008. Since November 2009, the girls have been living in a rented house situated in Phum Wat Sway Village. Because the property has been constantly failing to meet the girls' needs and because moving from place to place may reflect negativeley on the stability and integrity of the project, it was decided to look for the donors willing to sponsor the purchase of the land and the construcution of a new boarding house.

Now LHA will be able to address the existing problems, make a small vegetable garden outside of the house, and also increase the number of girls from 13 to 25 or more.
