A new house being built at Children’s Development Village

Some of the older kids living at Children's Development Village will start a new year in a brand new house. The construction of the new house started on 28 December and should be completed in 3-4 days. The house has been donated by Desmond, Emily and Stefan Brown from Boston, USA.

At the moment, there are six wooden houses at CDV. The price of each house is approximately $4,500. The new house will be less than half the price ($2,000), because it will be built using cheaper materials and a more simple design.

Wooden houses (for the price of $1,400) are also being built for poor families living in the countryside. If you would like to sponsor the construction of a house, please contact us. You can see your donated house being built or even give a helping hand in the construction process!
